Tips on updating or upgrading to newer versions

Updating to a new feature release of Hippotizer

1. Download the new version you want to install and be sure to unblock the file.

2. Make a backup of all of your components in case you want to go back to this version later.

3. Uninstall the previous version choosing to delete all settings.

4.  a. (If upgrading from version v4.3 or earlier)

        Stop the Fan Controller and LED Manager Services. A video on this here.

4.  b. (If upgrading from v4.2 or earlier)

        Manually delete the C:\HippotizerV4 and C:\Hippotools folders.

Updating to a new minor release of Hippotizer

1. Download the new version and be sure to unblock the file.

2. Make a backup of all of your components in case you want to go back to this version later.

3. Run the new installer. 

4. Select either 'Do not delete user settings' to keep current programming, or 'Delete user settings' to remove all programming.
